School Advisory Committee (SAC)
The School Advisory Committee (S.A.C.) advises the principal on matters within the jurisdiction of the school and DoDEA. It meets at least four times per year. An equal number of members are elected from both parents of enrolled students and professional school employees.
Matters are discussed pertaining to school policies toward students and parents, student activities, and administrative procedures affecting students, instructional programs and educational resources within the school, allocation of resources within the school to achieve educational goals, pupil services (health, special education, testing, evaluation, counseling, extracurricular activities), and student standards of conduct and discipline. The committee meets at least four times per academic year.
